I'm definetly up for the trip guys all is dependent on the weather I suppose , after my last rather damp camping trip I reckon most anything is bearable ,on a completely different subject I'm wanting to buy a second paddle both as a spare and as something different to paddle with , ( birthday coming up ) ,somewhere in the 200 pound range , carbon and different from my paddle which is a Lendl EG1 fibreglass touring paddle ,its cranked slightly, I'm happy with it but want something different aswell any advise from anyone would be very much appreciated ,was looking at an Ainsworth paddle but know nothing about them Regards Magnus

Thanks Andy for your very detailed answer, I'm sure your info are going to be very useful.
Hope you Scottish people are getting better weather than us in France, it still is like winter with a lot of wind which makes sea paddling a bit dodgy! but fun!

Hi folks
I have one Easky 17 for sale. About 3 years old. Completely OK except for some scuffing. Although a "budget" design we find that the Easky 17 is a surprisingly good boat for people of 14 stone right up to 18 stone. The fittings are a bit basic but work OK. Very stable but unlike some other "stable" designs they work well in wind and waves. Vast storrage space in the hatches.£500. Call Tony on 01631 710173 (evenings)
